Scarlet Sky

She bled and they won
Grabbed her magic crayons

Handed her a knife
To save her life

Whipped her once
whipped her twice

For sins unknown
She bled, they won

She had to pay the price
For some obscure vice

She grievously ached
Yet, looked unafraid

She was supposed to fight
For the prospect bright

They knew her as candid
And behold what she did !

In deep distress, she still lingered
Wiped strains with her dainty fingers

Swayed her hand gently in the sky
Finally collapsed, it was her last try

Scarlet red, the sky shone
When she bled & they won.
